Sidekick kicks the can? Maybe just not yet!

A source close to a 'friend' of mine just informed me that the failure of Microsoft's Kin and most recent demise of the hardware/software and lackluster promotion, may in fact rekindle a sidekick/type Danger Inc. product.

This is not official by any means but I was told "product managers" are thinking of a possible melding of WP7 and some sort of spin-off mass consumer affordable device for the social networking peeps.

Take it as you will, but this may or may not happen.
