This maybe hard for some of you say but its the true, i really like Symbian and nokia is big down here in Tobago but if they want to succeed is the US market then they have to kill off symbian all together. I mean really, the n97 half killed the Symbian name already, why not finish the job, and start over with something new (meego)

I think it is dead right now, but Nokia is working on Symbian 4. We have seen some screenshots of it already.

yeah i have seen then too, but it doesn't look much or any better then Symbian ^3, i think they should just drop Symbian and stop working on it all to get there and work on meego

Yeah that would make the most sense. I still don't understand what happened to Maemo 5 on the N900. That OS was really good. I am not sure why they didn't just go full fledge with that OS.

That's the same question i have been asking all a long, meamo is really cool and i really like it, but maybe nokia wants something better?? who need what nokia is thinking these days scratch

we will just have to wait and see how good meego is

I very nearly bought an N900, but opted for an android device instead. Still to this day I wonder what could have been, though I hold android very close to my aorta. You are both right, Maemo has/had such potential. I hope Meego doesn't prove to be Nokia's "Windows ME."
